Schools, Community Buildings & Public Sector - Funding
Financing a Solar PV system can in some cases be a long process for public sector clients, which is why we have teamed up with several finance partners who can source and secure funding for a project of any size.
We’ll work with you to develop a project cost and feasibility initially, then we’ll introduce you to the most appropriate partner for your project type. It is common for finance to be raised in the form of Capital Leasing, often with repayments being made from revenue provided through the Clean Energy Cashback Scheme.
Some projects and organisations may be eligible for grant funding from a small number of charitable organisations. These include the EDF Energy Green Fund, E.ON Sustainable Energy Fund, and Scottish Power Green Energy Trust. Other funds may become available from time-to-time and we will attempt to update this page accordingly.
Please note that all projects will require at least a 50% contribution from another source (in the case of an electricity providers fund, they will not allow you to gain funding from a competitor). For Capital Leasing projects a small contribution may be required.
Access Renewables do not provide financial advice. We will be pleased to introduce you to a Project Finance company however we do not endorse or recommend any particular funder, broker, agent, representative or similar nor do we generate any commission or fee for doing so. Funding streams are correct at time of publishing.
