It is difficult to provide guidelines costs for a solar PV system as each installation is different. Below, we’ve shown some typical uses and system sizes to enable you to get an idea. Typical UK home (3 bedroom semi-detached property with a pitched, tiled roof)

The average size system installed here would be a 2kw system, typically consisting of between 10-12 modules, fully installed for around £11,000 - £12,000 plus VAT. Click here for pre-selected system offers for homeowners.

Typical Office (7,000sq foot administration office)

The average size system installed into an office of the above size would be around 5kw, typically consisting of around 25-30 modules mounted on a framing system/flat roof. The guideline cost for such would be between £25,000 - £30,000 + VAT.

Primary School or small community college (Approx 150-200 pupils)

The average size system installed into a building of this size and energy demand would be around 6kw, with a guideline cost of around £30,000 plus VAT.
